Junior House League
Our Junior House League Program is for boys & girls new to softball. This level will play with an 11″ fastpitch softball and will encounter whip or windmill style pitching. There is no stealing in this league. We focus on skill development and sportsmanship. All registered participants will be insured under Softball New Brunswick.
Schedule
Junior level program will play twice a week with 1 scheduled game and 1 dedicated practice. A special “Day Of Champions” takes place the first Saturday after the long week-end in September will all teams participating, a BBQ for the players and special awards for Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Player and Most Dedicated Player.
Equipment
A properly fitted softball glove will be needed to play. Cleats are suggested but not mandatory. Bats and helmets are provided.
Uniform
All registered players will receive a team jersey to wear for the season that must be returned.
Cost
The cost to register is $150.00.
Senior House League
Our Senior House League Program will be based on skill level. Girls will play with a 12″ fastpitch softball and will encounter whip or windmill style pitching. Regular international softball rules apply to this level with stealing, bunting, running on a dropped third strike and more. We continue to focus on skill development and sportsmanship. All registered participants will be insured under Softball New Brunswick. Schedule Girls in this program will play twice a week with either 1 scheduled game and 1 dedicated practice or 2 scheduled games. A special “Day Of Champions” takes place the first Saturday after the long week-end in September will all teams participating, a BBQ for the players and special awards for Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Player and Most Dedicated Player.
